Bloomreach Experience Manager V12.6.7-1 hotfix notes

October 14, 2019

In the most recent release of brXM 12.6.7, a project could bundle a version of the JavaBeans Activation Framework caused by a rename of this external dependency. The javax.activation Activation Framework library is intended to be provided by the server and not bundled in the CMS webapp.
With the addition of Elasticsearch 6 support for the 11.2 and 12.6 maintenance releases updating Elasticsearch to release 6 before migrating to brXM 12.6.7 could block a upgrade from release 11.2 to release 12.6

Both issues have been fixed in this 12.6.7-1 hotfix version. We recommend that customers upgrade from version 12.6.7 to 12.6.7-1 as soon as possible.

The changes introduced in this hotfix is described here:

REPO-2250 Block javax.activation dependency after sneaky jakarta.activation artifact rename
BT-2171 Cannot upgrade from release 12.6 to 13.4 when using Elasticsearch 6
