Hippo CMS license and notice files
Hippo CMS is built out of a big software stack which includes different components. Using and contributing to open source software is a crucial aspect of developing software in Hippo as one of the biggest open source CMS providers.
The source code for the Hippo CMS projects referenced below is made publicly available under the Apache License version 2.0.
The Hippo CMS projects may also depend on other third party projects and libraries which may impose additional or different redistribution or general licensing terms than those stated in the Apache License version 2.0.
For each of the Hippo CMS projects the specific Source Code licenses and notices are listed below. Users and redistributors of these projects are requested to verify these conditions and agree upon them.

The code of Hippo CMS Community Edition is licensed under the Apache Software License 2.0. All included libraries are distributed either under the Apache Software License 2.0 or a compatible license, with the exception of the Sencha ExtJS library. The 3.x version of Sencha ExtJS used by Hippo is distributed under GPL v3, with an Open Source License Exception for Applications. If you customise or redistribute Hippo Community Edition code that uses ExtJS components, then you must comply to their open source licenses - or buy an appropriate developer license from Sencha.
