Solr integration in Hippo CMS

Hippo's Relevance Module ships with Elastic Search which is the preferred integration for Search. See Integrating Hippo CMS with ElasticSearch Engine.

The Delivier Tier supports Solr integration. With Solr integration, it is possible to seamlessly use Delivery Tier its ContentBeans from Solr search results, where the beans can be backed by JCR based Hippo Repository Documents, or from any other source, eg external sources fetched over http or sources from other CMS's or DMS's.
