Bloomreach Cloud Pageview Definition

Pageviews are a key metric for estimating usage across Bloomreach Content PaaS and Self-Hosted (formerly brXM/Experience Manager) services.

What counts as a pageview (Content PaaS)

A request to Bloomreach servers is counted as a pageview when all of the following are true:

  • The response status code is in the 200–299 range.

  • The request method is GET.

  • The request path does not start with /binaries[1] or /ping. The /binaries path is reserved for serving binary assets such as images and files, and is therefore excluded from pageview counts.

  • The request path either:

    • Has one of the following extensions: .html, .htm, .jsp, or .ftl, or

    • Has no extension at all.

Data source

The Bloomreach Cloud Team relies exclusively on Humio access logs as the definitive source of pageview data for Content PaaS.

Bloomreach continuously monitors access logs in Humio, ensuring this data is readily available to all Bloomreach Cloud customers.

If you would like to view the exact Humio query used to monitor pageviews, please contact Bloomreach Support: https://support.bloomreach.com/
