Class Name

The Search Component is implemented by the class

org.onehippo.cms7.essentials.components.EssentialsSearchComponent

Purpose

This component is a specialization of the List Component, turning pagination on by default, and not requiring a document type list. If no query request parameter is specified, the component avoids all querying logic.

The Search Component does not have component parameters, request parameters or rendering attributes other than what the List Component provides.
